Rode the first NW slide path from Lightning Strike ridge to Twin lakes. 40 degree to start, mellows to ~ 30 degree after 50m. Well-supported slope, no convexities. About 10cm slough running but no slabs after a ski cut test in open trees. Similar to what Vern noted in his report from previous day on N. side of highway: https://www.avalanche.ca/map?panel=mountain-information-network-submissions/a4c7f5e3-4b96-453f-82b7-3b1dc25aafe2 Then rode open trees SE adjacent to Ripple Creek, ~25 degrees. Good dense powder, no sloughing observed. Overall conditions were encouraging.
