AST 1 at Bullmoose, Untouched snow was good riding in sheltered areas. Exposed areas were wind affected. Beautiful Day if you were out of the wind, it was +5 when we got back to the staging area. Pinwheels starting later in the afternoon. We found 2 layers of concern. One down 50cm reacting in the late moderate / hard range on facets / decomposing surface hoar. Resistant Planar Results. Another Down 120cm on 10cm thick layer of 2-3mm facets reacting in the moderate range, Fracture was very irregular, breaking at various intervals throughout the 10cm facet layer. ETCP30 RP Down 87 on the thick facet layer, snowpack was shallower on the south side of the pit.
