Avalanche
1 sz2 Goat ridge bowl - sled triggered. Steep convex feature. Fracture approx 200m w x 100m long. Rider climbing, saw fracture above him, kept going and made it just off of the slab. Rider shown stuck in upper left of photo. Debris filled deep terrain trap at the bottom of slope. Suspect initial failure as mid January then stepped down to December pwl. We showed up just after release. Photo attached. 1 reported (to us) sz2 - not much info. suspect persistent slab. two involved. Believed to be 40deg + lee alpine feature NE aspect. Shallow steep and rocky. Two riders on slope - not full burials. Reluctant reporters so not much info provided. No photo.
