We were exploring in heave timber. 15cm new snow 1cm sun crust 25cm snow from last week. Then a 4cm rain crust on top of 1.1m of faceted and corn snow. No signs of avalanches.But lots of track of people sledding in avalanche shoots. Snow pit at 1400m.
