Talked to a group that had just remotely triggered this avalanche above Dick Creek. One skier was setting a skin track to the looker's left when the slide was remotely triggered. No one was caught or carried. The group was concerned other people were touring in the valley below. Plenty of big settlements and whumping were observed during the day. Found buried surface hoar over a crust in a nearby test pit with ECTP12 down 40cm (see Haines Avalanche Center observation 12/29/24)
