10F at parking lot. Patchy skies turned to overcast and light snow (S-1) by end of tour. Windchill above treeline felt cold. 8"HST

Snowpack

SW aspect near treeline HS 110cm. Facets top to bottom.Mid-pack slab very weak. 4F through entire pack until 20cm from ground where I found depth hoar(F)2-4mm, and an inconsistent knife crust 2cm from ground. SE aspect near treeline HS 90cm. CT18SC 35cm from ground on decomposing crust/facet combo over depth hoar. Slab above weak layer also very weak, 1F+ above weak layer. Depth hoar 4F 2-3mm below weak layer. New snow bonded well to old snow.
