Weather
Clear and cool at the TH at 7am, but warmed up and sky progressively worsened to broken/overcast and snowing lightly by 11.
Snowpack
Trace of new overnight. Warm snowpack. Light overnight freeze left a thin frozen surface skin.
Avalanche
Hard slab (pencil) sitting above semi-cohesive rounds of less than fist hardness. Remotely triggered from flat below SE facing slope at about 11,800' in bowl feature between Red and E. Red. Slide was approximately 500-600' wide, 8" crown, 35-40 degree slope and ran approximately 150-200'. Debris pile was 5-6' deep. Triggered around 11am.
