Amazing day at Harvey Pass. A 20-30cm blanket of blower pow covers the slopes of the pass, offering great skiing top to bottom. Up to 80-100cm in some wind loaded aspects (NE - Curveball). Evidence of slab avalanche size 2. See "Avalanche" for more info. ECT Test Results @ 1950m on NE facing slope: ECTX. Skied low angle terrain down backside of ridge (Nancy Green Area) and front side of bowl. Multiple face shots and smiles were had.

Weather

No wind slabs observed on any aspects. Light snow ending in afternoon. Sun began to warm snow by late afternoon.

Avalanche

Size 2, Slab Avalanche observed on NE aspect below headwall feature. Depth of crown was approximately 60cm, other dimensions were hard to determine from safe distance. Elevation of start zone was approx 2150m. The avalanche appeared to have slide during or following the most recent storm.
