Weather
Several hour temperature spike mid-morning - early afternoon. Temps to 44 @ base, 38 @ Top. Wetted snow surface top to bottom, all aspects. Skies broken, but thin haze - lots of radiation/ greenhousing. Strong, gusty winds.
Snowpack
Rollerballs, pinwheels, escargot, tree bombs. Ski pen less - ~ 5 cm - whereas hitting bottom yesterday. Now have dense wet snow on soft faces. Minimal wind transport NTL and BTL; more higher. All crusting by mid-afternoon.
Avalanche
Big chunk of Sun Deck roof slid ~1100 AM. Never happens this time of year. Concerned we could kick off wet avalanches. Almost there for slabs.
