Weather

Heavy snow over night. New wind as of 2 o'clock. When the clouds broke, you could see strong to extreme winds around 13,000 above tree line and cornice loading.

Snowpack

12" new at the house(10,300) and when going 1,500 ft up, 27" in drifts(3:00) All below treeline. All new snow sitting on hard cold slab base. heavy western loading going on right now. Snow still coming in about 1/2"-1" an hour, with nothing(dry roads) around 9,500ft. Too socked in to observe any other loading or avy activity, except for large cornice/wind coupling.
