Cold windy day. No new snow in the last 24 hours, but a lot of wind. Northwesterly and northerly winds averaged 15 to 25 miles per hour gusting to 40 miles per hour.
Snowpack
Wind crust top 5 centimeters (2 inches). Mostly faceted grains below. Small degrading temperature crust 35cm from the ground. Very well formed, 2mm chained and striated depth hoar crystals at the bottom of the snowpack.
