Snowpack
SNOWPACK DISCUSSION: No layers of concern on Southern terrain below 10,500ft. Two pits at 11,600ft on South and South East aspects, 28 degree slopes, showed similar results. 58cm 4f-1f 14cm CT10 Q1, ECTP27 on 1.5mm Fc. P 0cm Multiple collapses on E and SE aspects between 10,900 and 11,600ft with some shooting cracks in wind loaded pockets. The interface between the melt freeze crust at the bottom of the snowpack and new snow from the week of 12/3, appeared to be more reactive today then observations made on S/SE terrain of about the same elevations on 12/9.
