Avalanche

Apparently there was an avi yesterday near the Broome Hut, but in the First Creek drainage. GCSAR was paged out for an avi with leg injury, then stood down before we could respond to Second Creek Trailhead. Apparently the group was able to self extricate. There were three (3) people involved in the avi. One was totally covered for 10-15 minutes, second one was half buried and lastly the lady with the leg injury. Apparently there we’re a lot of people up at the Broome hut and a doctor was there as well. In the end it sounds to me like they all got very lucky."
