Weather

Snowfall most of the day, large flakes, varying intensity. S1 to S2 then S-1. Skies obscured til mid afternoon, when clouds lifted slightly and skies became overcast. Winds calm, but picked up mid afternoon. About 4" new snow at 11000 feet.

Snowpack

Height of Snow unusually high for this time of year, though snowpack not particularly dense. HS did not vary by aspect or elevation as much as usual. Sunny slopes had fewer MFcr, less consolidated. Anomalies ikely the result of consistently cloudy and stormy weather.

Avalanche

Saw some recent debris below very steep, rocky outcrops at about 10700 feet, but no evidence of whether debris from loose or slab avalanches.
