HN24=0; HS >TL varied from 10cm to 120cm according to wind-affect and southern exposure; tremendous spatial variability; sun-crust/frozen top 3cm most of the way up; mostly supportive and cohesive top 30cm with few trapdoors here and there where sun-crust gave way to collapsing facets that ran to the ground; hard freeze in town overnight (low temp of -13.3C at 6:00am)after high spring temps the previous 2 days
