S1 w a few S2 showers late morning. Winds almost non-existent. In cloud above 10000 feet elevation, with rime on southerly sides of trees and branches.
Snowpack
On southerly slopes, new snow covers mostly supportable melt-freeze crusts. On northerly slopes, new snow has buried weak, fine-grained facets. Below that, snow structure consists of an 80-90 cm thick slab sitting on 40-45 cm of mostly 4F-hard early-season facets and depth hoar. The 12/13 IF is visible as a thin, softer stripe about 60 cm below the surface.

Triggered sluffs in steep, northerly, below-treeline terrain. 1 natural sluff in same area.
