Snowpack

Today we skied up the Slate. Clear and calm weather, warm. Dug a pit on a 32* slope. HS 200-225 cm. Three compression tests showed CT12 on a layer 60 cm down, but was very unclean and didn't snow enough energy to propagate. This layer was maybe a very small crust, or just warmer layer in the snow from the last storm cycle. We skied pitches 25-38* with no sign of instability.
