Snowpack

Up to 2' of mostly weak, faceted snow with some thin, buried melt-freeze crusts near the ground. 8" thick 4F and F hardness soft slab overlying 1mm facets sits on a 1F hard melt-freeze crust bed surface on south aspects near treeline. The slab is stiffer above treeline. We skied up to 30 degrees on SW and W aspects near treeline. Above treeline, more terrain was scoured to the ground and slabs were a mix of soft and hard wind slabs on cross-loaded terrain.
