Weather
Unsettled and breezy on Cameron Pass today. Periods of sunshine mixed with OVC and snow showers up to S2. Temperatures were warm, nearing freezing around midday. Some pretty strong westerly wind gusts BTL, and visible plumes off the high peaks.
Snowpack
Cameron Pass saw similar storm snow as Berthoud Pass (and likely other FR areas) with the last 2 cycles. 10-20cm new snow, capped by a MF crust from Wednesday. Crust was breakable, and had very small NSF forming on top. Snow still in the trees this morning, so winds have been relatively light BTL/NTL until around noon today. A windshield tour over the pass showed no signs of recent avalanches on Diamond Peaks, Nokhu Crags, or Seven Utes. Visibility relatively poor in the alpine.
