8" of plates/ sector plates on 1F slab. I didn't check below the bed surface

Sloughing initiated about 100 ft from the ridge top that quickly entrained the rest of the snow in the upper chute. 8" storm slab ran quickly over the cliffs below and triggered sympathetic slides further uphill. This same situation continued to unfold as I traversed further along the ridge. Slides ran 800 vertical ft
