Weather
Bluebird, froze over night temperature was in the high 40's by 10:30. Clouds came rolling in in the afternoon. We skied a face with a northerly aspect from 13,000.
Snowpack
As the day got warmer the top layer sloughed off in big chunks again today. Some of these blocks were a cubic foot, Most smaller. Dug hasty pits on both South and North facing aspects at 13,000. Both areas had been wind loaded. The top layer sheered out on both but required force to do so. We skied out at 11:30 and even that felt late today.
Avalanche
Saw some big wet slides off the cliffs on Peru starting about 10:15. Debris from above managed to start slides lower down which left crown walls.
