Weather

Cold. Winter-like temps early AM; still cold in the sun late AM. Winds strong, northerly above treeline; gusts mixed down to near treeline by mid-morning. Few clouds early AM (mostly hanging at summits) clearing quickly.

Snowpack

Recent/ drifted snow above knife-hard crusts. 8-16" depending on aspect/ elevation. No signs of instability.

Avalanche

A few rollerballs w turns midday <9500 feet. Several small Dry Loose snow sluffs from rocks on northerly slopes late morning. No other activity visible.
