Snowpack
West side of ridge generally very wind affected with HS of 70cm or less above trees to HS of 170cm or more just within treed area. New snow is being windloaded above treeline with shooting cracks down ~15-20cm into this newly forming wind-slab. Test Pit revealed reactive SH layers at 38cm and 56cm with consistent CT and ECT tests. SH layer at 38cm found in pit layer ID, SH layer at 56cm not ID'd until tests were performed.
