Warm and sunny. Light and variable westerly winds.

Snowpack

Significant melting has occurred on the Mesa in the past week. HS at the study plot dropped about 6". The Cliffs have a 2-4 cm melt-freeze crust, with moist rounds below. The Island Lake path is quickly melting out, with a lot of rocks showing, and an isothermal spring snowpack. HS 30". No avalanche activity of any kind was observed,and no signs of instability. Not even a roller ball.
