Calm Weather, no apparent frontal movement. Strong radiation.Thin overcast cloud layer throughout tour. No precip. No wind.
Snowpack
Highly variable snowpack. Ice lenses apparent on E-S-SW aspects. Surface crust observed on all but steep northerly aspects.
Avalanche
Several (6-8) small (D1) wet loose avalanches noted on east and southeast aspects in Commodore Basin near and above treeline, believed to have run in the past 1-3 days due to natural triggers. One older D 2.5 HS noted in Pool Drain, running over cliff band to basin below - estimated to have occurred 2-4 weeks ago.
