Weather
Warm and windy. Cloud cover varied from overcast to mostly cloudy with some sun peeking through. Temps were well above freezing, but brisk winds helped make it feel cool and kept the snow surface cold.
Snowpack
Snowpack here has been isothermal for a while. Snow surface was getting wet, other layers were quite moist and had obviously been subjected to melt water over an extended period of time. Very homogenous snowpack with generally 1f-P hard melt forms throughout. A couple of old melt-freeze crusts near the top of the snowpack, otherwise no significant layering, no layers of concern, and no concerning results with snowpack tests. Overall, a soggy, spring snowpack that is draining well. Lower paths along the road like Flatiron, the Headaches and the Short Chutes were melting out, and mostly or completely bare.
