Snowpack
In Rocky mountain national park there is a layer of Graupel which is unevenly distributed a cross the terrain. In places this layer is 6 to 10 cm thick. It is capped by a 5 to 10 cm windslab in the alpine which is pretty soft and by decomposing snow atl and btl. Layer was observed as small pockets on east slope at the base of dragons tail and more widely on northern slopes. Aspect: E Elevation: Above treeline
