Weather

9,500-10,500' S3 in a.m. and then back to S-1 in pm. W winds around 20 mph up high. Big transport

Snowpack

18" new in a.m. with another 5" by early afternoon around 10,000' Todays snow had much more wind and water to it. Added a lot more weight to the pack. Guides report thick on top with yesterdays lighter snow under. Lot of new load on the existing problems.

Avalanche

Some small results on ski cuts on S aspect around 10,700', "low quality". On the MF crust. Natural slide on S slope at 10,500. Approx60cm deep by 200 m wide by 60 m vertical. Natural slide on N aspect in lower S Soda drainage around 9,600'. Approx 60-70cm x 20m wide x 50m vert Both slides were spotted from a distance, so we'll have a look up close and let you know what we find.
