Weather
Warming rapidly. At 10:30 warming up rapidly and clear, with passes already in the low 40's. Expecting highs of 50F today. By early afternoon thin clouds were increasing from the south.
Snowpack
Late morning obs: Master stakes have dropped substatially since the storm - between 6-12 inches (most at our lowest site - Monument) ***Obs South of Silverton - snowpack in all of these paths well settled. Wet loose activity will pose very little threat as so much snow-volume was reduced with mitigation during the last storm. Henry Brown is the one area that could slush out to the edge of the road. ***Obs RMP South - Less concern for these paths with the warm up for the same reason as above. Doubt that the Brooklyns or Ledges will cause problems unless we have warm nights! So much volume is gone from the Brooklyns that it is unlikely that any large sluffs or slabs could reach the road. ***Obs RMP North - greatest threat is ice-fall in the Gorge (discussed with CDOT). Mother CLine has interestingly has only had slight WL activity so far - there's enough snow here to continue to affect the hwy - small to moderate amount of snow. E. Riverside N. had early WL activity and the path is becoming thin again. A warm night or two could get things moving in Slippery Jim and Mother Cline.

no new avalanche activity other than wet loose.
