Niccy’s Notch + Lower 8812

- Serious wind affect on all aspects above TL made for variable skiing conditions, even deep in the notch. At worst this was a breakable wind crust that is visible from a distance. - Strong W winds with blowing snow on ridgetops, but some heat in the sun when the gusts slowed. - In the few sheltered areas that we found at TL there was a significant surface hoar layer forming (2cm+ below Balu head wall). Great views, nice temps, average skiing!
