Additional avalanche triggered @ 1500 while ascending tight treed ridge on SE side of main ridge north of Cedar Creek. A healthy D1.5 persistent slab avalanche released on facetted grains (no crust present) on a NE slope at 1940m, ~38 degree slope, 50cm-90cm crown, ~20m wide, ~65m run. The avalanche released from the shoulder of the ridge in steeper widely spaced treed terrain on ridge shoulder. Extensive shooting cracks (~3-5m) & collapsing while ascending through trees from Cedar Creek.
