Sweet Pow Day in Crowsnest

Crowsnest delivered today! We found 25-30cm new low-density snow over last week's storm snow that was still soft. With almost no wind and cold temperatures (-11), the new snow had little to no slab properties. We did see numerous loose dry avalanches out of steep terrain. The low-angle slope that we skied required strait lining because of the deep snow. We did find a steeper pitch that was face shots all the way!
