Headed for flute east and oboe via oboe traverse / moose meadows. After observing several large whumpfs on our up track (presumably on the recent SH layer) and battling with ridiculous glopping (photo is of skins with BD globstopper wax applied!), we decided to call it a day and turn around at about 1800m. We also saw several avalanches that ran in flute bowl from explosives. Did not get close enough to investigate (ongoing avy control).
