Weather
09:00 to 12:00 there was rapid warming and intense solar radiation. 12:00 - 16:00 skies became obscured, snow S-1. 16:00 - 17:00, skies were obscured, snow S 2.
Snowpack
Compression Test: 1850m, 40 degree N facing slope, ALP, CTN x 2. Steep N facing alpine terrain was characterized by wind pressed snow overlaying 30cm HST layer. HST layer sat on K density mid Feb crust.
Avalanche
Observed one SZ 1.5 WS NA on steep N Facing Alpine Slope. Appeared to be at least 96 hours old. Observed sloughing while we skied steep N facing Alpine Slopes. No signs of recent slab avalanche activity.
