Fording Pass Trail

Attempted snowmobiling the trail from Etherington staging area to Mt Bolton and found the trail was heavily drifted, we stopped at an area where we would need to make a sidehill cut through a large drift, on the high side the drift extended about 50m sloping up above the trail, on the low side was a deep and heavily treed terrain trap. We did an ECT and on tap # 2 it released a 25cm slab on and propagated , the slab was sitting on a sugar layer so we decided not to proceed and turned around
