Avalanche

While cutting a cornice to test the slope we triggered a very touchy R3, D1 wind slab at top of the couloir. Slide ran the whole length of the chute approx 800' vert. Forecast was LOW across all elevations but wind had been depositing snow in this isolated feature. Crown depth varied from 1-6". We also noticed a small R1, D1 slide in Alta #1 on a similar aspect & elevation (North, ATL).
