Snowpack

The snowpack where I traveled is about 85 cm. The bottom 20 cm is 4F- PWL with 65 am of slab. The slab hardness changes with depth, where the bottom is 1F hard, and the top is F hard. ECT results were ECTP20 at 65 co from the surface. In large tree openings (similar to where I dug my snowpit), I could see a day or two old cracks. In small tree openings (< 10m by 10m) I triggered whumpfs. The snow surface started to become moist on the SE aspect below 11.5 K.
