Snowpack

Snow surface became moist on east and southerly below treeline slopes. No rollerballs observed but we were not on steep, sunny slopes. Many slopes crusted by late day. HS around 11k in this area is about 120 cms. Ski pole probing, also around 11k, showed a generally soft snowpack with basal layers feeling softer and weaker than adjacent zones.
