The temperature was 31°F at noon and peaked at 36°F at 4 pm. Clear skies in the morning turned into increasing alto cirrus clouds, signaling a shift in weather.
Snowpack
Snow remained dry and cool above the treeline (ATL) and began to moisten in the near treeline (NTL) elevation band. The below treeline (BTL) area is in the spring diurnal regime.
Avalanche
Widespread wet loose activity was observed NTL/BTL on westerly aspects.
