Weather
It was clear and warm with light winds. The breeze made it feel cooler than it was.
Snowpack
The snow surface was cooler than expected with only slight surface melting encountered on the south aspect. The east aspect had a breakable melt-freeze crust from previous melting events and the northerly aspects were still soft and dry. On east there was a 111cm snowpack with an unreactive 60cm 4-finger to 1-finger hard slab on top of 32 cm of loose facets and depth hoar. Surface hoar and near surface facets were observed in the top 18cm. ECTx and PST 30/100 end @ 30cm on 4mm facets.
