@11,150' (treeline) @ 15:00 temp ~20 deg F, winds 5-10 from the west. Bluebird day.

Snowpack

@11,150' (treeline), still 8-14" facets in small pits dug along guanella pass. East to South East Aspects observed.

Avalanche

3 Avalanches (old) observed during the trip. Suspect that all were triggered within the last 0-48 hours after the last storm cycle. The largest slide was directly above Duck Lake on a South East Aspect that is ~500' (elev) from Duck Lake to Crown. Crown estimated at 2', broke across wind loaded convex ridge all the way to ground on 30 degree slope (38 deg max), appears to be naturally triggered. The other two slides started on East aspects at Similar elevations (11,650')
