Cloudy skies and cool temperatures gave way to a beautiful bluebird day with temps in the 20s at Pass level. Measured 1/2" of new snow at the CAIC study plot.
Snowpack
No signs of instability. Some melt-freeze crust forming on sunny aspects, 1-2cm thick. Surface hoar formed, but only in isolated favorable locations.
Avalanche
No observed recent avalanche activity.
