Weather

Clear skies and calm winds below 12,000'. Light wind transport on a few of the peaks in the afternoon from southwest winds.

Snowpack

46cm of storm snow is sitting on 20cm of weak facets. 98cm of total snow at 11,500' on an east aspect in Yankee Boy Basin. Shooting cracks and audible collapses were observed on north to east to southeast facing slopes near treeline. New snow near treeline had been affected by the wind and wind drifted snow was up to 60cm deep.

Avalanche

A widespread avalanche cycle took place up Camp Bird Road on Saturday night. Recent natural avalanches observed on west to north to east facing terrain at all elevations. Avalanches were up to D2.5 in size and a few propagated 100 yards wide and ran up to 1800 vertical feet.
