Weather

Cold and windy. Broken clouds with intermittent sunshine breaking through. Northeast winds were strong enough to drift the trace of new snow but no significant loading

Snowpack

The snowpack depth ranges between 1 to 1.5 meters. The recent cold and clear conditions have faceted the top 30 centimeters of the snowpack, although only the top 10 to 15 centimeters have lost all cohesion and are moving in Loose Dry sluffs. Surface Hoar is present on many surfaces but winds are laying it flat on wind-exposed slopes. The mid and lower snowpack consist of supportive rounds, 1F to pencil hardness(right side up) and is generally homogenous to the basal facets which are well sintered. No results with Extended Column tests
