Avalanche control closure of Mt. Bourgeau & Mt. Dennis on Thursday, Dec 18, 2025

On Thursday, December 18, Parks Canada will be doing avalanche control with explosives on Mt. Dennis in Field, and Mt. Bourgeau at Sunshine Village. Both areas are closed to park users all day; no climbing is permitted in either area.
