Did the approach to the traverse slope on the right side of stanley headwall on nov 11. Lots of snow transfer and never ending spindrifts scared us away. Went up again on 12th. Much less spindrift and less wind. The slope had a lot of snow but it didnt feel tensioned. Triggered an avalanche 100m from the beginning of the traverse. 15 meters long rip zone. 30 40 cm deep at the start.
