Emerald peak / slide path

Summited Emerald peak via the slide path today. Skiied right off the summit with amazing ski quality until TL. Little wind effect! The slide path below TL was skiied out prior to this past storm cycle and the new snow only slightly refreshed the ski quality. Some more notes below: -Isolated wind slab observed - steep S aspect near ridgetop. -Avy observed - steep SE immediate lee feature, ~2100m, sz 1, wind slab. -Had a small whumpf at a wind scoured shallow spot near a rock just below ridgetop. Snow was moist in this location. -28C at the parking lot. Clear day, light N wind causing snow drifting at ridgetop. -4 other parties in the area today. We broke trail on the way up though - The area didn’t seen any activity over the past few days.
