Weather

Cloudy, mild and calm with a few drops of rain.

Snowpack

The snowpack is further along in the spring transition/melt along this stretch of highway than the 550 corridor- due to the general lower elevation as well as the fact that many of the paths have a southerly facing slope orientation. This area has seen less accumulating snow recently and the very dusty snow surface has intensified the ablation. The snowpack in paths that continue to hold snow is isothemal and will likely quietly melt.

Avalanche

Several R1/2 D1 wet loose slides ran to road's edge but did not hit the highway (Snow Spurs, Burns and Scotch Creek Banks).
