Intermittent light snow with broken skies and sunshine at times. Spring-like skies and clouds with more winter-like temperatures.

Snowpack

No cracking or collapsing. 20 cm of new snow from the Wednesday storm. This snow sits on 2 cm thick melt-freeze crust and it is fist hard. Snow below this crust from the previous storm is four-finger hard and sits on better-developed facets above and below a very thin, fragile crust. I dug on an east-facing NTL slope I got a result of ECTP16 50 cm from the surface below the thin MFcr. Height of snow in this pit was 138 cm. In another pit lower down, the slab was less cohesive and I got ECTN results both on the crust buried on March 20 and the facets below crust buried on March 10.
