Northern San Juan

Weather
Warm, sunny and generally mild winds. A slight wind from the W and NW near treeline mid day but no major loading observed as fetches are stripped to rock in many places.
Snowpack
Observed large cornices on NE through SE facing slopes that were warming and want to give some berth to. NE slopes near treeline had a stout and strong 180-200mm HS. The surface snow was soft and surfy on NE aspects and may have a bit of trouble with larger new snow loads bonding to them as they are mildly faceting in the shade.
Avalanche
Nothing.
